Summer Indoor at ASU West - Intro to Lacrosse
Lacrosse is the oldest team sport in America. A Native American game that we can trace to the 1600’s, today Lacrosse is the one of the fastest growing sports in the USA.
Indoor and Air Conditioned at the ASU West Sun Devil Fitness Complex!
Our Summer Indoor at ASU West - Intro to Lacrosse Program teaches the fundamentals of the game: Catching, throwing, scooping, and cradling using the lacrosse stick, plus the offense and defensive positions of the game. Then, as part of each session, players will compete in non-contact, no equipment needed intramural games that incorporate lessons learned.
Sessions will be 1 hr. with approximately 30 min of instruction, and 30 mins of games.
Lacrosse sticks are available to loan. We use tennis balls and pop-up goals. Players need only athletic attire and running shoes. No equipment required!
Want your own stick? We recommend our partner String King for a hand strung top quality stick. Send me an email and I will add you to our Cobra Team Store with a 30% (!) discount on all products!
